The SA Carp Society strives to source and establish our own private venues. We believe that as anglers we are in control of our own destiny. As anglers we are in control of the future of carp fishing in South Africa.

We are constantly sourcing new venues for SACS members. Most of these venues are accessible only to SACS members and offer very good specimen carp angling opportunities. Safety, accessibility and cost are factors that are considered when signing up a new venue.

Our public waters are under a constant threat of catch-and-kill anglers, bow fishermen, pollution, poachers, illegal and commercial netting, etc. By sourcing and managing our own venues SACS can ensure the future of quality specimen carp angling in South Africa.

At SACS we are committed to source quality venues. Venue owners have come to the understanding that by allowing access to SACS members only they are guaranteed quality anglers, with no risk to their land, livestock, environment, etc. Strict member selection and control ensure that SACS can guarantee anglers of top quality and ethics.
