The South African Carp Society is a member based organization with:
1. The sole purpose of promoting the sport of ethical carp angling in South Africa,
2. Providing education to anglers on proper fish care,
3. Taking on environmental challenges related to angling, and ,,
Furthermore fur Furthermore the society source safe venues for its members. 4. Sourcing safe venues for its members to fish.
As the person who took over management of the SA Carp Society from the Founder of the orginization and established the Management Committee, Julius Klokow serves as Executive Director and life-time Guardian to the SA Carp Society to ensure that the Management Committee adheres to the (4) four primary goals of the society and also look after the interests of its members and proper management of its resources.
